GTA VI pre-sales will begin on June 25 across digital platforms and select retailers, Rockstar Games said Thursday.
“Grand Theft Auto VI” is scheduled for release on November 19 after two delays. The game will arrive more than 13 years after “GTA V,” the second-best-selling video game in history.
Rockstar Games, owned by New York-based Take-Two Interactive, announced the pre-order date in a post on X. The company also released the game’s official cover art but did not disclose pricing.
Analysts expect a base price of $80, based on recent comments by Take-Two Interactive Chief Executive Officer Strauss Zelnick and industry reports.
The game is the eighth main entry in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, which launched in 1997. The series lets players roleplay as criminals across large city settings.

A previous trailer showed that the new game would be set in a Miami-like city, like Vice City. It also showed a playable female protagonist, a first for the franchise’s mainline entries.
The franchise has faced long-running criticism over violent and sexual content. Take-Two Interactive has rejected claims that the games glorify violence or encourage criminal behaviour.
