Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq Friday said that an anti-democratic group of four wanted to derail democracy in the country.
Talking to media outside the Parliament House, he said,’Tahir-ul-Qadri, Sheikh Rashid, Imran Khan and Chaudhry Brothers’ were apprarently hatching conspiracy against the government and wanted to derail democracy.
He said Tahir-ul-Qadari, currently planning to stage a drama, had no worth to bring about any revolution and described him a ‘threat’ to the Constitution and democracy.
The minister said Sheikh Rashid through Train March, wanted to stage a ‘comedy drama’. He had got reserved only two bogies and wanted to make hostage the passengers of Awami Express.
He said Pakistan Railways has offered Sheikh Rashid to hire whole train for the march.
He said the government has no objection over Train March but Sheikh Rashid should spend money for train travel, otherwise he should stage a road march.
