Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif, earlier today called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and briefed him over his recent foreign visits.
The PM and army chief reviewed implementation of National Action Plan (NAP), and discussed matters pertaining to Zarb-e-Azb operation and return of IDPs to their areas.
The PM and COAS expressed satisfaction over progress into the anti-Taliban military offensive and agreed to expedite it, sources said.
In the meeting, reports said, General Sharif briefed the PM about his recent visits to Afghanistan and UAE.
