Funeral prayers of Allama Ali Akbar Kumaili, were offered at Shah-e-Khorasan Imambargah at Saddar area of Karachi on today (Sunday).
Allama Ali Akbar Kumaili was gunned down by terrorists in Azizabad area on Saturday evening.
Leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Majlis Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen (MWM), religious scholars and and Large number of people attended the funeral prayers.
Later on Ali Akber Kumaili was laid to rest at Ali Bagh graveyard near Cheel Chowk, Lyari.
Allama Ameen Shaheedi, Chief of Majlis Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen (MWM) condemned the killing and warned that the country is heading towards a civil war. He said that terrorists should be wiped out by a military operation.
