NASHVILLE, United States: Dolly Parton hotel SongTeller and the “Life of Many Colours Museum” will hold a joint grand opening in Nashville on September 29.
According to a press release, the SongTeller Hotel was originally scheduled to open in June, but organisers delayed its debut. The opening will come about a month after country music star Dolly Parton died at 80 on August 25, according to PEOPLE.
Created with entertainment company Herschend, the hotel will include 245 guest rooms and suites, two entertainment venues and a café.
Jolene’s will occupy the top floor, while Parton’s Live will operate on the second floor with food, drinks and live entertainment. The museum will take over the third floor and feature interactive exhibits tracing Parton’s life, music and career.

Organisers said footage recorded earlier this year will allow Parton to guide visitors through parts of the experience. The attraction will also include a recreation of the cabin where she grew up and a gift shop.
Hotel reservations will open September 14. Parton’s cousin Richie Owens is scheduled to perform September 16, while her niece Jada Star will begin an artist residency on September 17.
The SongTeller Hotel will also work with FEMcountry on programming highlighting women in music.
