A major terror plot was foiled as a five kilogram bomb was defused from a railway track located in between the towns of Rajanpur and Fazilpur earlier today.
According to railway authorities, the explosive device was found during routine maintenance work on a railway track at a toll plaza between Rajanpur and Fazilpur.
Karachi bound Khushaal Khan Khattak Express was stopped at Jampur after the bomb threat.
Bomb Disposal Squad said that the bomb weighing five kilogram was connected via remote control. The BDS defused the device successfully.
