Islamabad: Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, Tuesday said that government was utilizing indirect ways through American and Jordan Embassies to verify and recovery of 16 Pakistanis captive in Israeli jail.
Responding a calling attention notice in Senate, he said matter of 16 Pakistanis who went missing in 2009 in an accident of merchant vessel MV Danny FII in red sea, is a serious human rights issue.
He, however, said presence of those Pakistanis in Israeli jail is unverified so for.
Pakistan is making efforts through indirect sources to resolve the issue as it has not diplomatic relations with Israeli, Sartaj added. – APP
