LAHORE, Punjab: A man identified as Zain died on September 1, five days after a motorcycle crash that his family alleges occurred when a traffic official pushed his moving bike in Shadman.
Initial reports indicate that a Shadman traffic warden named Sultan alleges he rushed into the roadway to stop the motorcyclist. It remains unclear from the supplied material whether Sultan is one of the two officials named in Ayaz’s application.
Zain’s brother, Ayaz, submitted applications to Shadman Police Station and the DIG office seeking legal action against a traffic assistant and a senior traffic warden over the incident.
According to the application, the traffic assistant allegedly moved into the road while Zain was riding his motorcycle and pushed the moving bike. Zain fell and suffered a skull fracture.
His family rushed him to hospital, where doctors admitted him to intensive care. He remained under treatment for five days before dying at Services Hospital on Tuesday.

The application also alleges that the traffic assistant and senior traffic warden later registered a case against Zain in an attempt to protect themselves.
