7 Killed Including Women Children Dalbadin Road Accident

Seven people, including three women and two children, lost their lives after two luxury vehicles collided near Yakmuch in Dalbadin, officials said.

Police confirmed that the victims included two men, three women, and two children. Three other people sustained injuries in the crash.

Rescue teams reached the scene and transported the injured and the bodies to a nearby hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.

Karachi Faces Surge in Deaths and Injuries in 2025

Separately, Karachi recorded a sharp rise in deaths from crime and accidents in 2025, according to the Chhipa Foundation.

The annual report highlighted serious challenges in public safety and emergency response across the city.

The report stated that 89 people were killed while resisting robberies during the year. In the same incidents, 14 robbers died, while 35 others were seriously injured.

Gun violence claimed 407 lives and left 1,632 people injured, underscoring the scale of armed crime in the city. Authorities also recovered 21 tortured bodies and four bodies stuffed in sacks from different locations.

Traffic accidents remained the leading cause of fatalities. According to the report, 830 people died and 11,837 were injured in road accidents across Karachi in 2025 so far.

Train accidents caused 51 deaths, while drowning incidents claimed 96 lives, including 13 people who fell into open drains.

Fire-related accidents killed 26 people and injured 159, including casualties from an explosion at a firecracker factory.

Stabbing incidents resulted in 43 deaths, while gas cylinder explosions caused 11 fatalities and 40 injuries.

The report recorded 119 suicide cases during the year. Drug overdoses proved especially deadly, claiming 386 lives, including 381 men and five women.
