Cristiano Ronaldo revealed his future and potential retirement plans during an interview with the Portuguese TV channel NOW amid speculation about his departure from Al Nassr.
The Portugal captain, one of football’s all-time greats, shared, “I don’t know if I will retire soon, in two or three years, but probably I will retire at Al Nassr. I’m very happy at this club and feel good in this country, too; I love playing in Saudi Arabia. I want to continue.”
During his illustrious career, Ronaldo has left an indelible mark on the sport, especially noted during his time at Real Madrid where he netted an impressive 450 goals in 438 games. Notably, he is the all-time leading international scorer.
Ronaldo was clear about his departure from the national team, stating it would be a private and spontaneous decision. “When I leave the national team, it will be without prior notice, and it will be a spontaneous yet well-considered decision. For now, I focus on supporting the national team in upcoming matches, particularly the Nations League, where I’m eager to participate,” he explained.
