According to CID Police in charge, Ali Raza, during a police raid at the Mominabad graveyard on Friday, members of a banned outfit opened fire at a police party.
In retaliatory firing police killed a local commander of the banned outfit , while his associates managed to escape from the scene.
Police has not disclosed the identity of the deceased. Police have also recovered a 9MM pistol from his possession.
