Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif attended the funeral prayers of eight valiant troops martyred in a clash with the militants in Spin Qamar village of Baraprayer.
The funeral prayer of eight valiant troops, who were offered at Corps Headquarter Peshawar.
Later, the bodies of the martyrs were sent to their respective hometowns for burial.
The army chief also visited Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar to inquire after the health of soldiers, who were injured on Wednesday.
This is second phase of Khyber operation named as Khyber-II.
