BTS ticket scams have cost fans $68,200 in Singapore since June 1, with police recording 62 cases before the group’s sold-out “Arirang” world tour concerts.
Singapore police said victims were targeted through fraudulent ticket offers on Instagram, Carousell, and X. Scammers asked fans to pay through PayNow or QR codes, then demanded extra “administrative charges” before disappearing.
BTS will perform four shows at Singapore National Stadium on December 17, 19, 20 and 22, according to Ticketmaster Singapore. The official event page lists all four dates as sold out.
Live Nation Singapore also lists the four “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN SINGAPORE” dates at the National Stadium, with ticket prices ranging from S$148 to S$388 before booking fees.
Police warned that only tickets bought through Ticketmaster, the authorised online booking platform, would be valid. They said resale tickets would not be accepted, and users of such tickets would be turned away without a refund.

Ticketmaster Singapore’s help page states that BTS tickets are mobile-only and directs fans to the official event page for updated details. The Kallang venue page also points fans to the 24-hour ScamShield helpline at 1799 for suspected scams.
Police advised fans to install the ScamShield app, activate two-factor authentication and report suspicious listings. Fraudulent accounts were being removed with help from authorities.
