Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s Hebrew language account on social media platform X was suspended after just two posts.
According to the Jerusalem Post, the most recent post declared, “The Zionist regime made a mistake and miscalculated regarding Iran. We will make it understand the Iranian nation’s power, capability, initiative, and desire.” This followed the first post, which stated, “In the name of Allah the merciful,” appearing after Israel struck military targets in Iran last week.
On his primary X account, Khamenei regularly publishes posts in Hebrew, often expressing strong opposition to Israel. Reacting to Israel’s airstrikes, Khamenei articulated that while Israel might seek to exaggerate the impact of its strikes, it would also be incorrect for Iran to diminish their significance, as reported by CNN.
Khamenei remarked, “They’re making a miscalculation concerning Iran. They still haven’t accurately assessed the Iranian people’s power, capability, ingenuity, and determination. We must make them comprehend these aspects.”

Following Israel’s airstrikes that targeted Iranian military sites and resulted in the deaths of two soldiers, Iran described the attacks as focused on missile manufacturing facilities, surface-to-air missile arrays, and other aerial capabilities.
Iran later stated that this air attack concluded its response to Iran’s missile strike on October 1, confirming that its warplanes had safely returned and the mission was achieved. Meanwhile, Iran’s air force acknowledged strikes on military bases in Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam provinces, which it reported caused limited damage.
