GREENVILLE, South Carolina: Brian Hickerson was detained Saturday night after police responded to a fight at a Greenville restaurant, but officers later released him without charges.
Greenville police said officers responded to a reported assault at Wild Wing Cafe on Woodruff Road at about 9:10 p.m. They found several people involved in an altercation and detained multiple individuals.
Among those detained were Brian Hickerson and his brother, Zach Hickerson, according to a police press release.
Police said Zach appeared highly intoxicated and shouted profanities in public during the investigation. Officers arrested him on a disorderly conduct charge and took him to the Greenville County Detention Centre.

Brian Hickerson was released at the scene and was not charged. TMZ later published video from the incident.
The footage showed a man the outlet identified as Zach throwing a bar chair while restaurant employees attempted to calm the situation and escort him outside.

Brian Hickerson is the boyfriend of actor Hayden Panettiere. It also says Panettiere died on August 16 after being found unresponsive at a Greenville residence.
According to the report, authorities said they saw no immediate signs of foul play. Officials had not announced any charge or finding linking Brian Hickerson or anyone else to her death.
