After a heated exchange of the judge with the lawyers of the accused, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) judge has refused to hear slain Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq murder case.
ATC judge Kosar Abbas Zaidi was hearing the case when the counsels of the accused exchanged hot words with the judge.
Counsel Mansoor Afridi said; “The court was doing the job of prosecutor, and neither challan nor evidences were presented against the accused yet.”
After the arguments, the ATC judge remarked that he could not hear the case further and referred it to Islamabad High Court.
Later, Judge Kosar Abbasi left the courtroom and went to his chamber.
