Anthropic listed chief executive officer Dario Amodei’s total pay at $18 million for 2025 in its initial public offering (IPO) prospectus, which Reuters reviewed.
Stock and option awards accounted for most of the package. His sister, Anthropic president Daniela Amodei, received $16.4 million in compensation for the same year.
Meanwhile, the company doubled each sibling’s annual base salary to $1.4 million in July. That increase applies to 2026, rather than the compensation totals disclosed for the previous year.
Anthropic’s board also granted both executives restricted stock units this year. These provide future payouts subject to conditions, with some linked to continued employment and others to the IPO.
