MQM Chief Altaf hussain contacted the MQM secretariat in London for the first time after being arrested and had advised MQM (karkun) workers to remain calm.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain underwent medical checkup at London’s Wellington Hospital yesterday.
The medical test showed high blood sugar and the medicines were provided to Altaf’ Hussain to control blood sugar level.
The MQM leader is expected to remain hospitalized for another night.
According to London Metropolitan Police, Altaf Hussain will also remain under police custody during his stay at hospital for treatment.
Earlier, Pakistani High Commission in London contacted British Foreign Ministry and asked for access to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain as he is also citizen of Pakistan.
