LONDON: Jemima Goldsmith marries Irish-Australian financier Cameron O’Reilly in a private wedding held over the weekend, more than two decades after her divorce from former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan.
Goldsmith, 52, and O’Reilly, 62, had kept their relationship largely private. British media first reported their engagement in May after they had been together for about a year and met through work connected with films and documentaries.
Goldsmith’s brother Ben Goldsmith confirmed that the couple had married, according to the Daily Mail. His wife, Jemima Jones, also posted from the celebrations, describing it as a happy day.
O’Reilly is the Dublin-born son of the late Sir Anthony O’Reilly, the Irish media magnate and international rugby player. He previously worked at Goldman Sachs and APN News & Media before founding investment firm Bayard Capital and building the business that became Landis+Gyr.
Goldsmith married Imran Khan in 1995 and the couple divorced in 2004. They have two sons, Sulaiman and Kasim Khan.

She has recently spoken publicly about Khan’s imprisonment in Pakistan, urging the British government in August to raise concerns over his detention and access to his family.
