At least two people were killed and three were injured in armed clashes in different parts of Karachi on Tuesday.
According to police, In an armed conflict in Pak Colony area between the two armed groups one person was killed while one other was injured.
In another incident on person was killed while resisting robbery in the Eidgah workshop area. Whereas on person was injured in a firing incident which took place in the city’s Garden area.
The situation has been tense in the city as 9th and 10th Muharram dates approach, during which foolproof security measures have to be adopted for mourners who carry out rallies and processions in honour of Imam Hussain (A.S).
