German Berterame scored the go-ahead goal in the 84th minute after substitute Mateo Silvetti made it 3-3 in the 79th, according to AP.
Messi opened the scoring in the 24th minute after a deflection near the Cincinnati goal. Kévin Denkey equalised from the penalty spot in the 41st minute before Pavel Bucha put FC Cincinnati ahead in the 49th.

Messi levelled six minutes later from a Luis Suárez pass, but Evander restored Cincinnati’s lead in the 64th minute before Inter Miami scored three late goals.
AP reported that the win extended Inter Miami’s road winning streak to seven matches and marked Messi’s third game this season with at least three goal contributions.
Messi had 11 goals in 12 games entering the report, and the result moved Inter Miami provisionally to second in the Eastern Conference with 25 points, two behind Nashville SC.
