Retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady roast appearance at Kevin Hart’s live Netflix event drew attention Sunday night after he surprised the comedian on stage at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
Brady appeared during the final night of Netflix Is a Joke Fest, where Hart had just mocked him and claimed his own roast would be better because he could handle the jokes.
The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback opened with sharp personal jabs, including references to Hart’s past Las Vegas infidelity scandal. He also interrupted Hart’s stage rant with a blunt joke about whether the comedian ever stopped talking.
Brady’s appearance followed his own high-profile Netflix roast in 2024, where Hart and other comedians targeted him in a televised special.
Brady framed the moment as a comeback, using his current ties to Las Vegas as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and the WNBA’s Aces.
Comedian Shane Gillis hosted the live Los Angeles event. Chelsea Handler, Pete Davidson, Tiffany Haddish and Regina Hall were also part of the lineup targeting Hart.
The exchange stayed within the roast format, but Brady’s unexpected entrance became one of the night’s main talking points.
