ISLAMABAD: Opposition parties on Tuesday unanimously decided to oppose joining Saudi-led coalition strikes on Yemen rebels.
“There is confusion in the policy statement of Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Asif,” opposition parties said, adding that the statement shows government is trying to hide something.
Earlier, Khawaja Asif told the join sitting of the Parliament that Saudi Arabia asked for fighter planes, warships and troops for the conflict in Yemen.
He said that any threat to the integrity of Saudi Arabia would evoke a strong reaction from Pakistan.
