The 2025 semifinal at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami will feature Penn State against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. During halftime, fans will enjoy a performance by country music artist Nate Smith, who has been announced as the headliner for the 2025 Capital One Halftime Show. This event will occur during the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

According to the official Orange Bowl website, “The most iconic halftime show in college football returns with ACM New Male Artist and Billboard Rookie of the Year, Nate Smith, headlining.” Nate Smith joins a distinguished list of artists who have previously performed at the Capital One Orange Bowl halftime shows, including Fitz and The Tantrums, Walker Hayes, Gavin DeGraw, Flo Rida, and Andy Grammer.
