Pakistani TV anchor Moeed Pirzada was detained in United Arab Emirate, Foreign on August 04.
Confirming the news, the Foreign Office spokesman Qazi Khalilullah said that Pirzada was arrested by Abu Dhabi police on August 4 and Pakistani mission in Abu Dhabi was in contact with Moeed Pirzada.
According to sources, the anchor was detained from a hospital where his father was being treated.
