US President Donald Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House, where he claimed to have resolved eight global conflicts in just eight months. “I’ve solved eight wars,” Trump stated, referencing conflicts such as those between Pakistan and India, in Gaza, and others. He remarked that the clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan are “an easy one.”

Trump praised his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating it advanced peace. Zelensky sought arms for Ukraine’s ongoing conflict, but Trump emphasised diplomacy, claiming, “I’m skilled at resolving wars.”

Trump called the Pakistan-Afghanistan resolution “an easy one,” noting, “Pakistan attacked, or there’s an attack with Afghanistan.” He credited his mediation for de-escalation after deadly clashes. “I’m doing another one because I’m good at bringing peace,” he told reporters on Air Force One en route to Israel.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, at the Sharm el-Sheikh summit, called Trump a “genuine man of peace.” “He saved millions in South Asia and the Middle East,” Sharif said, praising Trump’s “visionary leadership” for averting a nuclear war between Pakistan and India. “History will remember him as the leader who stopped eight wars.”
