Over the final quarter of 2023, TikTok rigorously enforced its community guidelines in Pakistan, resulting in the removal of over 18.5 million videos. The platform’s actions, outlined in a recent press release, highlight its commitment to curbing violations and maintaining a safe online space.

TikTok announced the removal of 18,596,077 videos in Pakistan from October to December 2023, emphasizing its efforts against spam and the spread of harmful content. The company’s latest Community Guidelines Enforcement Report reveals its strategy to ensure a worldwide trusted and secure user environment.

Globally, TikTok removed 176,461,963 videos during the same period, with about 1.0% of all uploads being taken down. Advanced detection technologies removed over 128 million videos, demonstrating the platform’s reliance on automation for guideline enforcement. Additionally, TikTok reinstated 8,038,106 videos after reevaluation.

To protect younger audiences, TikTok deleted nearly 19.85 million accounts suspected of belonging to users under 13. The platform’s guidelines aim to foster a safe, inclusive, and authentic community, applying consistently and fairly to all content and users.
