Globally, TikTok removed 176,461,963 videos during the same period, with about 1.0% of all uploads being taken down. Advanced detection technologies removed over 128 million videos, demonstrating the platform’s reliance on automation for guideline enforcement. Additionally, TikTok reinstated 8,038,106 videos after reevaluation.
To protect younger audiences, TikTok deleted nearly 19.85 million accounts suspected of belonging to users under 13. The platform’s guidelines aim to foster a safe, inclusive, and authentic community, applying consistently and fairly to all content and users.
