MIAMI, Florida: The Tate brothers were arrested on Saturday after British authorities requested their extradition over charges including rape and trafficking for sexual exploitation.
The United States Marshals Service confirmed the arrests of internet personalities Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate. Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service said prosecutors would pursue their extradition from the United States.
The charges include rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation and offences involving indecent images of a child, according to the Crown Prosecution Service. The allegations concern incidents said to have occurred between 2010 and 2017.

Prosecutors said four additional alleged victims were included after Bedfordshire Police submitted further evidence. The development raised the total number of alleged victims in the case to seven.
Malcolm McHaffie, head of the Crown Prosecution Service’s Special Crime Division, said the charging decisions followed a review of the additional evidence.
The prosecution service also warned that criminal proceedings remained active. It stressed that both defendants retained the right to a fair trial.
The brothers’ lawyer, Joseph McBride, rejected the allegations. He accused British authorities of trying to interfere with legal proceedings involving his clients in the United States.
