Salman Abro, the key accused in Suleman Lashari murder case, has been declared juvenile by a medical board.
Lashari, an 18-year-old student, was murdered by his friend Salman Abro in Karachi’s Defence House Authority (DHA) following a quarrel over some petty issue in May.
Abro, who is son of a police officer, was also injured when one of the victim’s guards returned fire. Abro was later admitted to a private hospital in critical condition. He was also identified by eyewitnesses during identification parade.
Today, a medical board submitted its report to a local Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), stating that the accused is aging between 17 and 18 years, therefore, he should be tried in Juvenile Court.
Meanwhile, Ghulam Mustafa Lashari, father of the victim, expressed his reservations over the report, saying that he would challenge it in the court.
