Karachi: South Air began flights across five Pakistani cities, operating eight services to Karachi, Islamabad, Bahawalpur, Turbat and Quetta.
The launch restored commercial air connectivity to Bahawalpur and Turbat after extended service gaps.
South Air resumed connections between Karachi and Islamabad and between Karachi and Bahawalpur. Bahawalpur had remained without the route for about three years.
The airline also operated four flights linking Karachi with Turbat and Quetta during its initial schedule.
South Air is using ATR turboprop aircraft for its domestic operations. The airline said the fleet would support reliable connections on shorter regional routes.
