Florence Pugh Bond spin-off speculation has intensified, with the British actor being tipped to lead a possible Prime Video adaptation of “The Moneypenny Diaries.”
The proposed series would draw from Samantha Weinberg’s spy novels, published under the pseudonym Kate Westbrook, and focus on the backstory of James Bond character Miss Moneypenny.
Pugh is a leading candidate for the role following Amazon’s acquisition of control over the Bond franchise. However, it does not cite an official casting announcement from Amazon, Prime Video or Pugh.
Pugh’s production company, Flo Pug, recorded £6 million in profit over the past year, with cash reserves and assets totalling £10.8 million before expenses.
