ISTANBUL: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar invited Turkish investors to Pakistan’s opportunities in energy, mining, IT, agriculture, logistics and tourism
He said the sectors offered commercial growth potential and could support technology transfer, industrial modernisation and employment generation.
Dar said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government had launched economic reforms aimed at macroeconomic stability, investor confidence and a stronger business environment.
The foreign minister also called for cooperation in artificial intelligence, digital innovation, financial technology, advanced manufacturing and research partnerships.
He urged universities, research institutions and private-sector groups in both countries to expand collaboration.

Dar described Pakistan and Türkiye as strategic partners and said their political relationship should be converted into stronger economic cooperation.
He said both countries were placed at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Central Asia and could serve as regional trade and investment hubs.
The foreign minister said embassies, trade missions, investment promotion agencies and business communities should work together to remove barriers for businesses.
Dar accompanied Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on an official visit to Türkiye at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
During their meeting, the two leaders reaffirmed a target to raise bilateral trade to $5 billion and agreed to expand cooperation in trade, investment and special economic zones.
