Sindh High Court (SHC) Tuesday, taking suo moto notice of the measles stricken deaths of the children in Thatta and Sajawal, has called for a reply from the Sindh government, Geo News reported.
Zulfiqar Langa advocate in a letter to SHC had drawn the attention of the court to as many as 45 deaths of the children by preventable measles disease taking epidemic form in Thatta and Sajawal. It was also said in the letter if the preventive measures were not taken soon, the epidemic might engulf the entire province of Sindh causing havoc.
