Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly, Shehla Raza, earlier today claimed to have received a letter threatening to blow up her car with a bomb.
Reportedly, the threat letter, sent to Sindh Assembly Secretariat by mail, was sent by a terrorist group.
In the wake of terrorist threats, sources said, the ministry has written a letter to Rangers, seeking more security measures for the Deputy Speaker.
Sources said the letter also named MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi, Shia scholar Allama Abbas Kumeli, Allama Mirza Yousuf and former PPP leader Faisal Raza Abidi.
