Karachi : The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday issued notices to the Sindh government, K-Electric and others over the heatwave deaths in Karachi.
SHC’s Justice Aqeel Abbasi and Justice Shaukat Memon heard the case today.
The petitioner had said that due to lack of electricity and water supply in Karachi, hundreds of people lost their lives.
He added that the responsibility of the deaths goes to the Sindh government and K-Electric.
The hearing was adjourned till the first week of August.
