Al-Nassr vs Al-Hilal will decide the Saudi Pro League title race on Tuesday night at Alawwal Park in Riyadh, with Cristiano Ronaldo’s side able to seal the trophy with a win.
Al-Nassr lead the table with 82 points from 32 matches, five points clear of Al-Hilal. A defeat or draw would keep the title race open.
Ronaldo urged supporters before the match in an Instagram post, saying their backing had pushed the team every week and asking fans to “make it count” for Al-Nassr.
The fixture comes days after Ronaldo reached 100 Saudi Pro League goals during Al-Nassr’s 4-2 win over Al-Shabab. The Portugal forward has scored 26 league goals this season and 127 goals in all competitions for Al-Nassr since joining in 2022.
Ronaldo’s career total stands at 971 goals. The league title remains the major domestic prize he has yet to win since moving to Saudi Arabia.
Al-Hilal enter the match as Al-Nassr’s main title rivals, with the Riyadh derby carrying direct title implications.
