An AirSial flight diverted to Sialkot Airport after severe turbulence on Flight PF-125 from Karachi to Islamabad, and passengers later protested inside the aircraft over alleged restrictions on leaving the plane.
The aircraft landed safely in Sialkot after encountering bad weather en route. Passengers said the plane remained in turbulent conditions for nearly 30 minutes.
Travellers described continuous shaking during the flight and said the conditions caused panic in the cabin, particularly among families and older passengers.
Tensions rose after landing when several passengers refused to continue on the same aircraft, citing safety concerns following the turbulent journey. Passengers alleged the private airline insisted the flight would proceed onward despite their objections.
The situation escalated into a protest inside the aircraft after travellers claimed they were not being allowed to disembark at Sialkot Airport. Videos and accounts from the scene showed passengers arguing with airline staff while demanding permission to leave the plane.
Passengers said uncertainty after the turbulent flight and the alleged restrictions on exiting the aircraft added to fear and confusion. AirSial had not issued a detailed public statement on the incident or passenger complaints.
