Anti-polio campaign has started today in Peshawar.
The local administration has imposed Section 144 to ban pillion riding for security reasons.
According to the health department, one hundred and ninety four thousands children less than five will be vaccinated in 99 Union Councils of Peshawar.
At least 4,000 polio workers are participating in anti polio drive, whereas more than 3,000 security officers have been deployed to ensure security.
One day polio vaccination campaign began at eight in the morning and will continue until four in the evening without any break.
