Despite the announcement of registering the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan Agency early on Monday morning in Peshawar, the process started with after delay of several hours.
According to the Fata Disaster Management, the process of IDP registration was scheduled to begin at 7 am today but it started around 11 am.
The members of the affected families had reached the venue early morning and were waiting in long queues, however, the administration failed to show up on time.
The displaced persons kept on waiting under the open sky and scorching sun while no adequate security arrangements were witnessed at the venue.
