Karachi: Rangers arrested Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Director, Najam-Uz-Zaman.

According to Rangers, the official, who is serving Director Land at KDA, was collared by the paramilitary troops from his residence in North Nazimabad area.

According to sources, Najam-Uz-Zaman has been arrested for his alleged involvement in illegal sale and purchase of government plots, popularly known as “China cutting”, and patronizing land grabbers.

The arrest comes three days after Babar Chughtai, a businessman and builder, was held by Rangers. He is accused of land grabbing and funding criminals.
