The Met Office has forecast yet another spell of heavy rains in parts of Malakand, Hazara, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan today (Tuesday), with the weather expected to turn even colder in the areas worst-affected by the devastating earthquake.
A majority of people in the quake-affected areas spent the chilly night out in the harsh, cold weather, staying awake so as to be ready in case of any aftershocks.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, the temperature has already dropped after a three-day spell of intermittent rains and snowfall.
The weather also grew harsher in the Koh Safaid tribal area of Parachinar after snowfall and heavy rain, with a similar situation in adjoining areas.
Residents of the quake-affected tribal areas spent the harsh night outside under the open sky, braving the cold weather to be ready in case of any aftershocks.
The weather has also increased the troubles for residents of the quake-affected areas of Chitral, Mansehra and the surrounding region.
