Peshawar police prepared initial report on the attack on a police party yesterday.
According to reports, four assailants in a car ,armed with SMGs (sub machine guns) attacked a police party and fired at least 16 rounds, killing 4 people on the spot.
According to a Sr. police officer “The policemen were in the middle of Iftar at a local restaurant at Landi Akhun Ahmed neighbourhood on the outskirts of the city when unknown assailants opened indiscriminate firing on their van killing three policemen and a waiter of the restaurant on the spot.”
