Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Monday appreciated Pakistan Air Force’s role in safeguarding Pakistan’s air frontiers and clearing terrorists’ hideouts in particular.
He was talking to Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, who called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif here at the PM House.
The prime minister lauded the contribution of Pakistan Air Force in destroying the hideouts and safe havens of terrorists in the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb.
The Air Chief apprised the prime minister on the professional excellence and operational preparedness of Pakistan Air Force.
Sharif said historically, the PAF has invariably responded to threats to the national security. He said the competence of Pakistan Air Force was matchless.
“It is encouraging that Pakistan Air Force’s traditional role has assumed new dimensions according to the changing times and advancement in technology,” the prime minister remarked. (APP)
