The Foreign Secretary of Pakistan Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry earlier today arrived in New Delhi to attend the “Heart of Asia” conference, Indian media reported.
Aizaz Chaudhry will also formally meet his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar in New Delhi today.
The meeting between Chaudhry and Jaishankar is expected to take place at around 10:00 a.m.
According to Indian media reports, Pakistan and Indian foreign secretaries will discuss bilateral ties besides resumption of dialogues suspended following Pathankot airbase attack.
Pakistan is playing a key role in the Heart of Asia conference. Aizaz Chaudhry will represent Pakistan in the summit, being attended by the representatives of China, Russia, Afghanistan, Iran and India.
