KP Police Transfer Officers, Replace Hazara and Kohat Chiefs

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police have ordered immediate transfers and postings, appointing new regional chiefs in Hazara, Malakand and Kohat under an official notification.

Jahanzeb Nazir Khan takes over as Hazara regional police officer (RPO), replacing Nasir Mahmood Satti. Satti moves to the Frontier Reserve Police as commandant.

Malakand RPO Syed Fida Hassan Shah becomes deputy inspector general (DIG) operations, with Zahid Nawaz taking his regional post. Outgoing DIG Operations Shakir Hussain Dawar will serve as Kohat RPO.

District command changes cover Mansehra, Karak, Haripur, Upper Swat and Lower Chitral.

Counter Terrorism Department senior superintendent of police Muhammad Waqas Khan becomes Mansehra district police officer (DPO). He replaces Muhammad Azhar, who moves to headquarters as Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Operations.

Kohat Superintendent of Police (SP) Investigation Niaz Muhammad takes over as Karak DPO. Outgoing Karak chief Imran Khan must report to the Central Police Office (CPO) in Peshawar.

AIG Operations Taimoor Khan replaces Shafiullah as Haripur DPO. Police have directed Shafiullah to report to the CPO.

Swat SP Investigation Muhammad Jameel Akhtar takes charge as Upper Swat DPO. Mushtaq Ahmed, who previously held that post, joins the Elite Force as SP for the Peshawar region.

AIG Logistics Muhammad Khalid takes over as Lower Chitral DPO, replacing Resham Jahangir. Jahangir takes Khalid’s previous post as AIG Logistics.

Police have also directed Additional Inspector General Training Dr Faseehuddin and DIG Legal Humayun Masood to report to the CPO. Irfan Tariq is among the officers instructed to report there.
