KARACHI, Sindh: The bodies of two Pakistani Houthi attack victims arrived in Karachi on Thursday, while three injured crew members were also repatriated from Jeddah.
The deceased were identified as Umair Afzal of Landhi and Muhammad Akram of the Manzil Pump area, according to ARY News.
Their bodies arrived at Jinnah International Airport on Saudi Airlines flight SV700. Meanwhile, injured crew members Abid Ali, Muhammad Rizwan and Muhammad Waheed arrived on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-762.
Airport officials said representatives of the Government of Pakistan and the Saudi Embassy received the bodies and injured crew members.
Other injured personnel were taken to Islamabad for medical treatment and related arrangements. Pakistan earlier condemned the attack on the non-military commercial vessel in the Red Sea.

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said attacks on commercial shipping endangered civilian lives and violated international law. He also offered condolences to the families of those killed.

The government earlier confirmed that three Pakistani nationals were killed in the attack. Thursday’s repatriation involved the bodies of two of them.
