ISLAMABAD: Pakistan rejects Indian allegations linking it to more than 200 arrests in India, calling the claims part of a politically motivated campaign.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said Islamabad strongly rejected the allegations made by Indian Home Minister Amit Shah. He accused New Delhi of using anti-Pakistan claims for domestic political gains.
According to the supplied Reuters account, Shah said Indian agencies arrested more than 200 alleged operatives across 14 states on August 12. He linked them to a group called the Shahzad Bhatti Network.
Shah also claimed the arrests prevented planned attacks. The supplied material does not provide independent evidence establishing a Pakistani role in the alleged network.

Andrabi countered by accusing India of involvement in terrorism and destabilising activities outside its borders. He cited the case of convicted Indian naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav as evidence supporting Pakistan’s position.
Pakistan also urged the international community to reject what it called baseless allegations and scrutinise India’s conduct in the region.
