Pakistan Broadcasters Association in a meeting held on Friday suspended the membership of Geo News. The meeting was called to review defence ministry’s treason allegations against Geo News. PBA has also issued a show-notice to Geo News administration.
A representative from Geo was also present in the meeting.
The Pakistan Electronic Media Regularity Authority (Pemra) has already suspended the license issued to Geo News for a period of 15 days.
