Seamless pace attack by Black Caps left Green Shirts struggling as Neesham and seamer Kyle Mills bagged three wickets, followed by two wickets of Devcich.
Henry and Vettori also grabbed one wicket each.
Chasing the target, the biggest hitter was Ahmed Shehzad with 33 runs followed by 28 runs of skipper Shahid Afridi. Saad Nasim and Umar Akmal could score only 19 and 10 respectively.
Earlier put into bat by Pakistan, New Zealand managed 144-8.
Skipper Kane Williamson top-scored with 32 while Luke Ronchi made 31 and Tom Latham scored 26.
For Pakistan, returning paceman Umar Gul finished with 2-24 while skipper Shahid Afridi took 2-33.
Besides Gul, opener Ahmed Shehzad also returned to the team, with Awaiz Zia and Mohammad Irfan dropping out.
New Zealand made four changes from the first match, bringing in Tom Latham, Dean Brownlie, Daniel Vettori and Kyle Mills in place of Corey Anderson, Martin Guptill, Mitchell McClenaghan and Adam Milne.
Winning the first T20 by seven wickets on Thursday, Pakistan lead the two-match series 1-0. The two-match series now stands drawn 1-1.
In the first T20 match yesterday, opener Sarfraz Ahmed made a career best 76 not out to guide Pakistan to a comfortable seven wicket win over New Zealand.
Chasing a modest 136-run target, Pakistan were lifted by Ahmed’s 64-ball innings which had eight fours and two sixes as they completed the win in 19.1 overs for a 1-0 lead. (AFP)
