National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved Rs2.97 per unit reduction in electricity tariff today.
The tariff has been decreased under the fuel adjustment plan for the month of November.
The change in power tariff is not applicable on the K-Electric consumers, thus, power consumers across the country except Karachi would be given Rs17 billion relief.
According to Nepra, the change is also not applicable on domestic consumers who use below 50 units.
